安顺三民独立中学（简称三民独中）创校于1929年，合并华侨、培华、中华三校，而成三民学校。后因1961年教育法令之实施，1962年三民学校劈分为二，安顺三民独立中学遂应运而生。

　　三民独立中学为民办中学，负起栽培华人子弟，维护民族之根的使命，以孔孟圣贤教育培养学生成人，以成功教育教导学生成才。课程三语并重，教学以华语为主要媒介，课程以广受国内外大专院校欢迎的独中统一课程为主，政考课程为辅。

　　学校学生出路多且广，校友遍布全球，秉其所学献身社会，在各个领域崭露头角，深受各方重视与称许。本校自 1999 年全校学生人数逐年增长，从 1999 年全校人数 177人至 2026年已达861人。

　　学校有60%的学生来自外州，其中以雪州学生占多数。校制采用国内外多所大学承认的三三制；即高中三年，初中三年。高中分为理科、商科、史地科、餐饮技能科。三民独中坐落于安顺市郊区，校区占地7.8英亩，校园规划有致，绿意盎然，清静幽雅，适宜学习。

San Min School was established in 1929 when Hua Keow, Pei Hua and Chong Hwa merged. The year 1962 saw San Min School splitting up after the implementation of the Rahman Talib Report in 1961, hence S. M. San Min (Suwa) was born.

As an independently managed Chinese secondary school, San Min Independent High School is committed to nurturing Chinese youth while preserving Chinese language and cultural heritage. Guided by the values of Confucian education, the school strives to cultivate students with strong moral character and to develop their talents through a philosophy of successful education. The curriculum places equal emphasis on three languages, with Chinese as the primary medium of instruction. The school mainly adopts the Unified Curriculum for Chinese Independent High Schools, which is widely recognized by universities in Malaysia and abroad, while also offering selected national examination subjects.

Approximately 60% of the students come from other states, with the majority originating from Selangor. The school follows the internationally recognized 3+3 secondary education system, consisting of three years of junior secondary education and three years of senior secondary education. At the senior secondary level, students may choose from Science, Commerce, History & Geography, or Culinary Arts and Food Services.
